FRIDAY 2nd NOVEMBER 2018
We will be taking our Race Night to the fabulous Hart of Eastbourne pub, on Friday 2nd November, to raise money for Eastbourne's own World AIDS Day Memorial Garden.
It's now 21 years ago this Dec 1st that Mayor Mary Pooley dedicated the tree as the first Memorial to World Aids Day. It's is also 20 years ago this Dec 1st that again as Mayor she dedicated the rose garden as the 2nd Memorial to W. A. D. We are rasing funds this year to add to the Memorial area, a Park Bench. This again with be dedicated again by Mrs Mary Pooley to complete the Trio of remembrance memorials to World Aids Day.
A Race Night is a fun and exciting evening with all the fun of a day at the races! Have a small-stakes flutter on a horse from the programme, then cheer it on in a filmed race. All the films are drawn at complete random on the night, so this is a game of pure chance- no odds, studying form or nobbling horses can help you!
There will be a raffle on the evening, and the bar will be open until late!
