Race Night for The Shed! 23rd November

Our last race night of 2018 will be raising money for the fantastic Eastbourne Shed project. Managed by Age Concern Eastbourne, the shed recognises that often in older age many men and women relocate to smaller accommodation and lose out on their garden shed or workshop. 

The Eastbourne Shed Project provides a place where people aged 50+ can experience the joy and fun of pottering about in a shed, but doing it with like-minded people, supplying good company. Shedders are involved in woodworking, wood turning, refurbishing old tools and machines, personal projects and community projects.

A Race Night is a fun and exciting evening with all the fun of a day at the races!  Have a small-stakes flutter on a horse from the programme, then cheer it on in a filmed race. All the films are drawn at complete random on the night, so this is a game of pure chance- no odds, studying form or nobbling horses can help you!   There will be Fish and Chips available beforehand, and a raffle during the interval. All welcome!
