The last one of the year- and as its shortly before World AIDS Day, we will be raising money to support the upkeep of Eastbourne's own WAD memorial tree and garden.
Hampden Park's WAD tree and rose garden was planted 20 years ago and dedicated on 1st December 1997 by Councillor Mary Pooley. With access 365 days a year, it's a non-religious place for all faiths and denominations to reflect on loved ones who are no longer with their friends and family.
A Race Night is a fun and exciting evening with all the fun of a day at the races! Have a small-stakes flutter on a horse from the programme, then cheer it on in a filmed race. All the films are drawn at complete random on the night, so this is a game of pure chance- no odds, studying form or nobbling horses can help you!
There will be a raffle on the evening, and the very competitively priced RAFA Club bar will be open. Hot food will be available before the start of the event.
